Sunday Morning Volunteer Opportunities
Guest Services: Guest services make people feel welcome as they take part in our Sunday morning worship gathering. This could include greeting people online and/or in person.
Children's Ministry: children's ministry includes helping our young kids to learn about God through our Children's Church program on Sunday mornings.
Tech team ministry: the tech team helps with the audio + visual aspect of the Sunday morning service. This includes song lyrics, worship team audio, live stream audio, and visual and camera usage.
Hospitality: we have a lot of events that go on at The Bridge. Hospitality is helping with set-up and tear down and food preparation for our guests.
Other Volunteer Opportunites
Church Maintenance: Our trustees do a good job at keeping our church fixed and running. They maintain our lawn, gardens, and building.
Character Ed: For over 50 years we have served the children and families of Big Flats Elementary by providing a safe space for kids to explore the Bible and who Jesus really is. Every Wednesday after school from October-May, our volunteers invest in these kids as coaches, leading worship, or teaching a lesson from Scripture.
Youth Group: Every week, our teens get together to learn about the bible and take part in fun activities with friends. It is a great way for our 7th-12th graders to connect in a safe and loving environment while learning about God and sharing testimonies. Volunteering includes helping guide, and create fun activities for our teens during youth group or on trips.
Operation Christmas Child (OCC): As an area collection center, we see over 10,000 shoe boxes come through our doors each year! In the middle of November, we have volunteers for counting shoeboxes, unloading vehicles, packing and moving cartons, as well as making our lobby a warm, welcoming place for those who drop off boxes.
